coeur ya. is a silversmith and brass sculptor who creates forms inspired by words and natural phenomena.
This exhibition presents new works themed around “Serendipity,” expressed through the motif of threads, along with staple pieces and art works curated by 78 GALLERY in collaboration with coeur ya..

Special Feature on coeur ya.　December 3 – 24, 2017

This exhibition featured new works by metal artist coeur ya., inspired by Tetsuya Shimada’s drawn lines and encounters with 78 GALLERY. The theme, “Three Threads : Three Words with the ‘Ito-Hen’ Radical” – Matsuwasu (to entwine), Amu (to knit), and Ichiru (a single thread).
The show also included coeur ya.’s signature brass pieces.
